NOTE: If you don't see your Z-Wave controller on the list above, please contact us before you purchase this product.
We challenge you to find more bang for your buck! The Zooz MultiRelay combines two 15 A dry contact relays and one 20 A relay so you can cut down on hardware and stay on budget. This device is your answer if you want to control 3 garage doors with a single unit (pair it with a Z-Wave tilt sensor to monitor open/close status of your door). Zooz even has a dedicated Garage Door Opener app for Hubitat and easy to follow steps for SmartThings, making the programming part quick and easy.
If you’d like to automate your gas fireplace, pool pump, or commercial gate, the MultiRelay is capable of all of it and more. Use the MultiRelay to manage your sprinkler system via Z-Wave and connect it with the ZAC98 accessory relay to use your existing sprinkler timer as a trigger. Better yet, create custom if/then rules with your Z-Wave hub to trigger different events and scenarios, like having your sprinkler system turn on once your garage door closes in the morning.
Mount it on your wall using the built-in inserts, and connect wall switches if you’d prefer physical control of the connected devices. The MultiRelay is equipped with the latest S2 security protocol for secure connections and its Z-Wave Plus chip ensures fast and stable communication with your Z-Wave hub.
Follow the appropriate diagram to wire the MultiRelay according to your application. If you don't see a diagram describing your set-up, please contact us to request help with the installation. Remember to always turn power off at the breaker before handling the wires. Never apply any voltage to the Sw input terminals!
Once you've completed the wiring, power the MultiRelay up with a USB C and a standard power adapter (sold separately) or a direct connection to 12 / 24 V power source (remember about polarity if using DC voltage).
Now add the MultiRelay to your hub: initiate inclusion (pairing mode) and click the Z-Wave button on the device 3 times quickly. The LED indicator will blink to indicate communication and stay on for 2 seconds to confirm inclusion.
You’ll most likely see 4 new on/off devices in your app:
3 channels for on/off control of each relay
1 master node to control all relays at the same time and to access and adjust advanced settings in (if your hub supports parameter input)
TRANSLATES LOW-VOLTAGE SIGNAL FOR ZEN16 DRY CONTACT INPUT TERMINALS (Great for alarm system or sprinkler timer triggers)
Like the rest of my Z-Wave, this is a simple set up with great results
Hooked up the Zooz Multirelay to our gate so I could open the gate remotely to let in service people or friends. Worked perfectly.
These Zooz ZEN16 relays are fantastic devices - and very well supported with their custom SmartThings edge drivers. I've already bought three of these relays, two as water solenoid controllers and another to control two independent garage doors.
Don't hesitate - buy these!
Works as listed.
It works great! Very easy to setup with Hubitat hub.
