The Nodon Soft Remote is the remote control to consider whether you’re just starting out with your smart home or looking to advance your system. In Standalone Mode, the Soft Remote acts as your network’s primary gateway controller, capable of controlling up to 16 unique Z-Wave devices. In Gateway Mode, the Remote can manage up to 16 customized scenes by speaking directly to your primary controller.
Made with convenience in mind, the Soft Remote’s magnetic body can be placed and held on any metallic surface in your home. Actions are communicated and confirmed with a bright LED indicator. The Soft Remote features a shockproof and liquid resistant rubber skin, making it the perfect go-to Z-Wave remote for everyday use.
To get started with your Soft Remote, it only needs to be associated with your Z-Wave devices and/or network in Standalone or Gateway Mode. Follow instructions in the manual to add the Soft Remote to your Z-Wave hub or associate it with individual Z-Wave devices in a stand-alone mode.
Then just place it on any magnetic surface like your fridge or keep it on your night stand for convenient access to your smart home devices and routines.
NOTE: If you don't see your Z-Wave controller on the list above, please contact us before you purchase this product.

The link to the smartthings device handler is broken, and the instructions for associating it with a hub simply do not work for a smartthings hub. I've tried the steps in the manual several times and followed the manufacturer's blog post from 2017 but it never works.
Once I was able to get this button controller paired with my Hubitat hub it started working flawlessly. I also really like that it comes in bright colors.
This button took me forever to get paired with Hubitat. I ended up reading the included directions many, many times. Then I had to read them again because I thought that I must have missed something. I lost count for how many times I put the hub in pairing mode while trying to get this connected. I think it comes down to the button being set up in 'stand alone' mode out of the box and needing to change it to 'gateway' mode before pairing it with a hub. I am sure there was a good dose of operator error in there too.
Again though, once it was set up it blended into the our system great.
