HOW IT WORKS

Connect the battery pack to your Titan Water Valve Actuator (sold separately) according to installation instructions and enjoy a back-up power source for your Z-Wave device when needed.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: If you already included the Titan to your Z-Wave hub, you will need to exclude and re-include or reconfigure the device after you add the battery pack to get accurate battery power readings on your hub.

1. Connect the battery pack to the power cord on your Zooz Titan actuator.

2. Plug the battery pack into the Titan power supply and screw on the waterproof cap.

3. Mount the Titan on the water valve according to instructions here and plug in the power supply to a receptacle.

Battery Backup for Peace of Mind - Zooz Titan Water Valve Battery

It's a battery backup for the Zooz Titan Water Valve. Easy to install inline with the line to the outet. Does exactly what it's supposed to do; Be a backup in case of a power outage. Nice.

Works Great, Integrates Well with ZAC36 Actuator

Decided to add the battery backup just in case the power is out and we need to shut-off the water supply without needing to remove the actuator to do so. The battery case has a hole that allowed me to install at the outlet cover by replacing one outlet cover screw with a slightly longer screw. Nice!

The battery is up and out of the way from the AC plugs. and allows for the wiring to be neatened up during install. Glad to have this item.

Even more peace of mind

After the bottom dropped out of the water heater and flooded a chunk of the basement I got the water valve actuator. Adding the battery backup means we'll be covered when the power is out.
The battery backup is easy to install and all I had to do to get it monitored was re-interview the valve actuator.
