How to add the Wall Remote to your Z-Wave home hub?
1. Make sure the device is within range of your Z-Wave network
2. Put your Z-Wave hub in inclusion/pairing mode
3. Tap the top button of the Remote Switch 6 times quickly to finalize the inclusion process (or scan the QR code / enter the 4-digit DSK number printed on the back of the remote if using the new SmartStart method)
4. A new remote control / button controller device will appear on your hub's device list
Rock solid performance! The button press feel could be a little better but as long as it holds up and the battery lasts I highly recommend this product. Connected easily to Hubitat and has never failed a press command. Magnet is strong enough to hold against the mount or a metal door and the mount looks great and can even be replaced with a different face plate.
Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range Wall Remote ZEN37 800LR (Battery Powered)
I installed very quickly and paired it with SmartThings and programmed it to manage an RF controlled fan/light system that is WiFi enabled; the top button toggles the lights on/off. I also programmed another function for locking everything at night when we do not remember if we did it. Pretty smooth overall.
Just what I was looking for, a nice and easy way for my wife and guests to control the devices in their room or common areas. I have these setup to control lights, fans, scenes et al for my living rooms, media room, multiple bedrooms, as well as exterior lighting. Bought two initially but now have a total of four for each major area of the house.
I have about 50 Zooz products now including switches, sensors, remotes etc. I also have a few old Zen 34 remote. This is a very nice improvement. The recharger USB is a nice touch. The extra buttons are a nice touch over the Zen 34. As always this was a breeze to setup and pair. It's pretty far from my hub but had no disance issues. I'll slowly buy a bunch of these to set up around the house!
