Here are some helpful installation tips:
How to include the 800 Series Dimmer switch to your smart home network?
1. Bring your Z-Wave gateway hub or controller as close to the switch as possible
2. Put your Z-Wave controller in inclusion mode
3. Tap the UPPER paddle of the switch 3 times very quickly to finalize the inclusion process
4. A new dimmer (or multilevel switch) device will appear on your controller's device list
NOTE: Use a dedicated diagram from the manual to wire the switch in a 3-way setting with a regular electrical switch if you are looking to control one light with 2 switches. This switch may wire differently in 3-way or 4-way installation than your other Zooz switch.
Changed over a dimmer that had broken. Very easy to do, and the wiring diagrams are easy to follow.
Switch works as expected and is reliable. Would not hesitate to buy another.
Works well with Homeseer (HS4). Virtual setup seems better all around: (1) Dimming with all switches; (2) slightly less expensive than ZEN77; (3) Flexibility to easily associate new switches or remotes without extra wiring (no traveler needed)
Very stable dimmer. Works well
I'm slowly moving a house full of Insteon dimmers to Zooz. I was originally skeptical about the switch to Z-wave technology, but these dimmers were easy to install and have been rock-solid reliable. I'm also enjoying some of the enhanced features like multi-tap capabilities. I look forward to getting the rest of them changed.
