Whether it’s an emergency or just for general safety and convenience, the Titan Water Valve Actuator offers an easy approach to smart home solutions. When connected to your Z-Wave hub, you can wirelessly and manually control your water valve from any mobile device.
There’s even potential for advanced home automation, which means more protection. Link up this valve actuator with other Z-Wave devices, like a flood sensor, and the valve will automatically close when water is detected. Or simply attach the included wired offline detection probe for local monitoring even when the hub isn't available.
The built-in Z-Wave signal repeater extends and strengthens the range of your Z-Wave network, ensuring fast and reliable connections thank to its 700 series chip technology.

You can install the valve actuator in a few minutes with no tools at all! Watch the video below for step-by-step instructions:
If installing the Titan actuator outdoors, please lock the Z-Wave button to prevent water damage to the device. Hold the Z-Wave button until 3 beeps sound, the tap the Z-Wave button 3 times. You can unlock the Z-Wave button by performing the same steps if you need to use it for programming purposes in the future.
The actuator installs easily and connected immediately to Home Assistant. I had no issues with calibration, as some have reported. Have tested the valve actuator a dozen times using both the supplied wired water sensor and both Zigbee and Z-wave water sensors in my HA and it works exactly as expected.
I had thought about getting hte Titan zwave for a while. Well...for everyone else, don't wait, since my hot water tank failed while I was not at home. Don't be me. Get the Titan Zwave :)
I successfully installed the valve on the home water supply line, and a ZBox with remote cell phone access to activate ON or OFF. The supply line was 1-1/4 inch but the ball valve had a somewhat larger body. I had to purchase the clamp extension kit for proper secure fit. Calibration of the valve was difficult and the process of establishing the Z Box account involved a lot of online trial and error. My hope now is that the connectivity and operation are stable with occasional power and internet interruptions that do occur.
Some challenges to set up but up and running. Several emails to tech support but finally got connected and working. A cumbersome process
Just make sure you know your dimensions. This thing, nor the plumbing will budge, so it fits or it wont. Good strong motor.
