      WORKS WITH

NOTE: If you don't see your Z-Wave controller on the list above, please ask the manufacturer of your Z-Wave hub about support for the ZEN55 before you purchase this product.

        INSTALLATION

Check your wiring first to confirm that you have all the following wires present in your electrical box: power, neutral, and the connection to the detector.

If you are not comfortable identifying the wiring and following the instructions, please hire a licensed electrician.

Here is an example diagram showing how to wire the ZEN55 to a smoke detector:

        INSTALLATION TIPS

        • Use with any standard interconnect smoke and/or CO alarms.
        • Always turn off the power at the breaker before handling the wiring, this is a 120 V high-voltage installation.
        • The last detector in series will be the one that only has 3 wires coming into the box (vs 5 or more in other boxes). This is where you'll have the most space to install your smart device at. (NOTE: it can be installed in any box in the series; the last is recommended only because of space.)
        • When adding the ZEN55 relay to your hub, you may need to scan the QR code or enter the PIN code located on the back of the relay (if your system supports SmartStart). Read more about adding the device to your hub here.
        • Test the detector's alarm (follow the instructions for your unit) to see if the status of the device changes in your hub's interface once the alarm goes off. Remember to warn your family members or roommates when testing this!
        • Always turn the power off when securing the module and the detector back in the electrical box.
        • You'll need to create an automation in your hub for a notification to be sent to your phone or email once the status on the ZEN55 changes so you can immediately know if the alarm is triggered.

        Works as it should

It was easy to setup, work right out of the box in home assistant with zwave js UI, for both CO and smoke detection

Seems to work exactly as advertised

We don't have a complicated setup - I just wanted to be able to tie our home smoke alarms into our Hubitat environment so I can get notifications if we're not home during an alarm event (and also so I can automate lights, door locks, etc., during an alarm as well). The product was easy enough to install - the only trick is finding the right j-box to install it in. Hubitat picked it up quickly (we used SmartStart to add it as an LR device). You do have to install custom drivers to use it with Hubitat, but they seem to work. No actual smoke detection yet (thankfully), but tests have been reported quickly to Hubitat. Seems to be a great device for remote monitoring.

Finally a smart wired zwave smoke alarm option

Extremely simple setup, install and integration in to Home Assistant. This sensor even alerts for both Smoke and Carbon monoxide.
        Well worth the money.

Best option for smart smoke alarm

Was looking for a hardwired smoke alarm which is also smart. Unfortunately, the options are almost none. This device made it possible to make existing alarm smart

        Perfect

I just got these for my hard wired smoke and CO detectors. They are amazing. Fantastic customer support as well. They have way more entities that I thought they would which is great.
