$28 Savings: Titan Water Valve Actuator + 2 x Water Leak Sensors
Whether it’s an emergency or just for general safety and convenience, the Titan Water Valve Actuator offers an easy approach to smart home solutions. When connected to your Z-Wave hub, you can wirelessly and manually control your water valve from any mobile device.
There’s even potential for advanced home automation, which means more protection. Link up this valve actuator with other Z-Wave devices, like a flood sensor, and the valve will automatically close when water is detected. Or simply attach the included wired offline detection probe for local monitoring even when the hub isn't available.
The built-in Z-Wave signal repeater extends and strengthens the range of your Z-Wave network, ensuring fast and reliable connections thank to its 700 series chip technology.
Click the image above to schedule a consultation with an installer for a 100% worry-free set-up!
NOTE: Don't test or turn the valve until it's fully installed and calibrated. Complete all of the installation steps before you begin testing.
You can install the valve actuator in a few minutes with no tools at all! Watch the video below for step-by-step instructions:
If installing the Titan actuator outdoors, please lock the Z-Wave button to prevent water damage to the device. Hold the Z-Wave button until 3 beeps sound, the tap the Z-Wave button 3 times. You can unlock the Z-Wave button by performing the same steps if you need to use it for programming purposes in the future.
Just make sure you know your dimensions. This thing, nor the plumbing will budge, so it fits or it wont. Good strong motor.
I ordered the Titan valve controller with a number wireless water sensors for installation. Installation was very straight forward (their instructions and videos are great) and everything worked as it should, with the sole exception of the wired water sensor that comes with the actuator. I contacted support and they offered to send a replacement sensor after (appropriately) asking for some photos of the installation.
The next day they emailed me again as they had a suggestion to ensure that the connector was properly seated in the receptacle at the valve. After ensuring that it was inserted as far as possible, I tested the sensor and it worked. Note, if you buy one of these and use the wired sensor, be sure that it is well seated in the receptacle.
The support team is very responsive, very professional, and very courteous. I have a number of z-wave devices from several manufacturers, and this is the best customer support service I have received from any organization.
I also bought their outdoor smart plug, outdoor double smart plug, and their temperature and humidity sensor, all of which install very easily and work flawlessly!
I will definitely buy more of their products as and when the need arises. I highly recommend the company and their products.
Better than my previous. Excellent and easy to install. Very strong
Just installed the Titan Water Valve and it appears very well made and robust. Running it off the Z-Box and be sure to exclude prior to adding the device. Great product!
I really like this actuator. I have a stubborn valve and the smaller actuators just didn't have enough torque to get it shutoff. I also like that this one mount to the pipe in two spots. The other type that only mounts on one side, with a hose clamp, just isn't stable enough. My only complaint with this actuator is the price. Even on sale, it is kind of spendy. Especially if you need more than one!
